About the 12.14 Foundation
The 12.14 Foundation was founded by Michael Baroody, MD, a resident of Newtown, following the tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. A ripple effect ensued that day which touched the lives of people throughout Newtown, the state, the country and the world. We were left with many questions, including about how best to move forward. We are completing our callbacks for 101 Dalmatians today! One of the students auditioning from Sandy Hook Elementary set up a lemonade stand with his friend and raised nearly $30 for the 12.14 Foundation. He said, “I know it’s not much…” But actually, it means far more than he realizes.
